We believe everyone should feel free to be themselves at work. We’re powering an internal movement of belonging. To us, a movement is the collective drive to achieve a set of shared goals in pursuit of an ambitious vision. Movements don’t happen overnight. And they don’t happen alone. Movements require the organization of many people working together toward a shared goal.

Nancy tells us all about ‘That Feeling When...’
The role I am in at VF makes me a ‘movement maker’, where I get to champion compliance at all our brands that span across our global network. My role serves as a link between Global Responsible Sourcing and Factory Compliance enabling our supply chain leaders and our brands to make informed decisions for the betterment of people and our planet. Driving positive change through engagement with the factories to create a better environment for the workers, their families, and communities they live in is a movement I am passionate about.
When working in compliance, I feel the biggest challenge is finding a balanced solution that best meets the needs of the business, the requirements of the customers and all the while driving VF's purpose. The power of networking across our wide and diverse organization helps me leverage the expertise of my colleagues to always find the right solution to contribute to betterment of people and planet.
That Feeling When... you see a brand kick off a new program, a new collaboration, a new initiative, or measure change while not affecting the brand’s DNA or compromising VF’s purpose. That means success to me.
I believe in the work that I do and understand how I can positively impact people who make our product and their communities through my work. This drive and passion for doing the right thing is what keeps me focused.
Do not let self-doubt hinder your vision, self-belief and being confident are important. It is better to try to succeed rather than do nothing due to fear of failure. Align yourself with people who value your contribution, who you can continue to learn and grow with. And most importantly, remain humble, admit to a mistake and fix it and do not hesitate to ask for help.
